About Caterham
Caterham is situated in East Surrey, bordering the beautiful Surrey Hills on one side and London on the other. It is divided into two areas; Caterham on the Hill and Caterham Valley.
Offering many different leisure activities, from comedy clubs, art exhibitions, beer festivals, to gliding and horse riding, something for everyone to enjoy. It’s renowned for its fantastic restaurants and variety of shops, with the high street and Church Walk both boasting numerous stores, from high street brands to boutiques and furniture shops.
Two of the country’s best private schools, Woldingham and Caterham School, are located in the town which bring many families into the local area. Caterham Train Station offers frequent commuter routes into Central London, London Bridge can be reached in just 40 minutes, as well as connections to Caterham, Whyteleafe and Upper Warlingham. As it’s nestled just inside the M25, Gatwick Airport can also be reached in around 20 minutes.
