ABOUT TUNBRIDGE WELLS
Tunbridge Wells is a bustling town with rich heritage and culture.
The town boasts excellent transport links, whether you are commuting to work every day, or just fancy a day trip to the coast. It’s home to two railway stations, with regular trains running into London and Hastings.
The A26, A264 and the A2667 are easily accessible and buses and coaches that will take you further afield run regularly, including the hourly metro service to Crawley.
Tunbridge Wells has long been a popular destination for those seeking the natural spring water, which dates back to the 17th century. Historical buildings are dotted throughout, including The Pantiles, which date back to the 18th and 19th century. As you walk along the lanes here, it’s easy to imagine yourself as a member of Georgian high society, showing off to the other visitors of the day.
Nowadays, the town centre is packed with a mixture of modern high street chains and specialist independent stores, so you can spend your day shopping before winding down at one of the many eateries in the town.
