We thought we would share some of our favourite pubs around Sussex and Surrey. Loved by some of our Move Revolution team for you to check out for yourself, whether you live in the area or are simply passing by.
The Starr Inn, Lingfield
Pop by this lovely country pub in the village of Lingfield on a Thursday for quiz night or Sunday for a traditional roast. If you can, grab a seat by their big log burner, or if you are feeling brave, the outside bar has a big decking area with outside seating and outdoor heaters.
The Station Pub, South Nutfield
This lovely village pub is dog-friendly, situated in South Nutfield, Redhill -with a menu incorporating dishes from both Asian and British cuisine. There are many different areas to enjoy your meal including the outdoor patio if you can brave the cold or, inside with warm lighting & comfy seating!

The Harrow, Warlingham
Dating back as far as the 18th Century, The Harrow began its life as a manor known as Aynescombes. In the late 18th Century the building received its license, becoming The Harrow Inn, and nearly a century later a single storey extension was added, making it the building that is so regularly frequented today. Inside, it has been beautifully refurbished, with stunning interiors and period features, as well as a great spot for dinner with friends or a drink by the open fire.
The Red Deer, Horsham
Located in the heart of the market town of Horsham, The Red Deer is a beautiful pub and brasserie with some impressive interiors. High ceilings, stunning decor and a pretty patio garden with heaters so that you can enjoy it all year round. The perfect spot for fantastic seasonal home cooked dishes.

The Stand Up Inn, Lindfield
The Stand Up is an olde worlde pub, filled with paraphernalia, original wooden beams and an open fireplace, in the heart of the picturesque village of Lindfield. Serving authentic Thai food, alongside a fabulous selection of local ales, it’s a great spot to check out.
Woodman, Banstead
The Woodman is located in the picturesque village of Woodmansterne, just outside of Banstead. With the village cricket pitch opposite and a large garden and kids’ playground to the rear, pubs don’t get much better than this. They always have something going on – from weekly quiz night to monthly karaoke and live music throughout the year.

Home Cottage, Redhill
Nestled in the heart of Redhill town centre, The Home Cottage is a family pub, bar and restaurant, serving cask ales, wines, craft beers and spirits and seasonal menu’s. With lovely cosy interiors, wooden beams, open fires and outside seating, it’s a great place for fry up or Sunday lunch with loved ones!
The Bolney Stage, Bolney
Located in the pretty village of Bolney, the centuries-old Bolney Stage just oozes character, with huge inglenook fireplaces, ancient flagstones, crooked beams aplenty and comfortable old furniture. You’ll find a warm welcome, good honest food and an unpretentious, chatty atmosphere.

Hove Place, Hove
Situated in the heart of Hove, moments away from Hove seafront and Church Road is Hove Place, a lovely pub loved by locals, situated on the lower ground floor of a stunning period building. Grab a drink and sit by the log burner or take a seat outside in the undercover heated outdoor area, the outdoor heaters and twirling fairy lights still make it feel cosy and festive!
The Old House at Home, Dormansland
The pub was originally a pair of Victorian cottages and is essentially one bar, with darts being played in a small room off to one side. Boasting ornate beams and featuring a real fire which is very cosy in winter. They also have quiz night every Wednesday and live music twice a month.
