Caterham, Surrey
The East Surrey town of Caterham is bordered by the Surrey Hills on one side and London on the other. The town itself is split in half between a valley however, both sides offer many different leisure activities from comedy clubs, art exhibitions and beer festivals to gliding and horse riding.
The area is famous for the highly renowned Caterham School, which brings many families into the area, further benefiting from various local conveniences such as a doctor’s surgery and an array of local shops. There are some great places to eat nearby, Chez Vous is a fine dining French restaurant offering a flavoursome menu. Commuter friendly, Caterham Train Station offers frequent routes into Central London, London Bridge can be reached in just 40 minutes.
