What is R&Be Active?
R&Be Active is part of Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. R&Be Active aims to help our young residents maintain a healthy weight and improve physical and mental health. There are lots of affordable activities locally and we are here to help you find one you and your family will enjoy! Have fun being #R&BeActive

It’s great to have you at Move Revolution Prioryfields this year – what activities are you bringing?
We can’t wait for Move Revolution Priorfields 2018. We will be teaching gymnastic/parkour skills and will have an exciting fitness challenge to put your speed, strength and stamina to the test. Take part and win a prize!
What else is going on this Summer?
R&Be Active holiday activities offer exciting opportunities to try something new, get outdoors, make new friends and have fun. This summer we have an action packed programme for 7 to 15 year olds, including water sports, high ropes, squash and musical theatre. There are also organised activities in our local parks that are free of charge, come and join us for family rounders, den building, pond dipping and more! We welcome children of all abilities to join in.
What parks are in the borough?
The council maintain more than 70 parks and 34 Children’s play areas. We are really lucky to have so much beautiful countryside on our doorstep. Exploring the outdoors is a great way to get out, be active and have fun as a family. Build a den, go on a scavenger hunt, try geocaching, visit the Narnia trail at Banstead Woods or the Bird Box trail at Earlswood Lakes. What leisure centres are in the borough?
There are three council owned leisure centre’s in the borough which are managed by BETTER.
- Donyngs Leisure Centre, Lindfield Lane, Redhill
- Horley Leisure Centre, Anderson Way, Horley
- Tadworth Leisure and Community Centre, Preston Manor Road, Tadworth
Each leisure centre has a gym, swimming pool, exercise studio, sports hall, children’s activities and courses. There are also outdoor sports pitches at Tadworth Leisure and Community Centre.
