We’ve so much to celebrate in 2025 – our first celebration is our very own Paul Mulligan’s 10th Anniversary at Move Revolution.
Paul joined Move Revolution with ten years agency experience, having worked for two high street estate agencies, progressing from trainee to Branch Manager prior to joining us at in January 2015. In 2015 the market trends were changing, the way in which people bought and sold was changing. Do you remember when we all used to look in the estate agents windows and rely on the details being updated? That really is a thing of the past now, with the move to a direct search on our website or search portal, such as Rightmove. Paul joined our small team bringing a whole host of ideas, enthusiasm and passion for the industry.
I’m not sure Paul will thank me for this – looking back at how he first became an agent! Paul was born locally, went to Primary School in Sanderstead and Secondary School in Purley so spent most of his early life in the area. Like many of us Paul had part time jobs as a teen, he worked in a DIY shop whilst he was studying at college, although he is renowned for being the least handy person you could ever meet – so it’s no surprise he didn’t progress down that avenue, although it’s probably what sparked his enjoyment and understanding of the importance of customer service. He then moved on to managing a music store selling CDs and DVDs whilst he decided what he really wanted to do and chose estate agency, because he wanted a job where no two days were the same, a varied role, one that was customer facing and where he wasn’t confined to an office all day. It’s certainly been an exciting career path for Paul.
“Paul joined the team in 2015 opening our Move Revolution Croydon Office at Airport House, Purley. He already had a brilliant reputation in the area, known for his expertise and work ethic. He grew our Croydon office to become the highest performing office in the company, alongside the growth of our Land & New Homes Division headed up by Sam Webb. As this office continued to go from strength-to-strength Paul took over the management of our South Nutfield HQ Office alongside the Croydon Office. He then progressed to become Move Revolution’s Operations Director in 2022 and Managing Director in 2024. His focus, love of the industry is always evident – alongside this he cares deeply for the team, instilling in them the same values, the drive he has – he wants them to be their best to love what they do, this is what underpins outstanding customer service – loving what you do!

It seemed only fitting to ask Paul what it’s been like to work at Move Revolution for the past 10 years!
“I can’t believe it has been 10 years! I still feel like one of the new ones! The grey hairs tell me I’m not…it is fair to say that joining Move Revolution was a career defining decision for me. Move Revolution has provided me with opportunity after opportunity, opportunities that I wouldn’t have had elsewhere, and I hope to think that I have repaid that faith by taking those opportunities.
I am grateful and very lucky that I love what I do, and I get to work with great people every day.
I would like to thank all of the clients that I have dealt with over the last 10 years for entrusting me with their business, many of them we have now moved two or even three times. I firmly believe that what sets us apart is our commitment to our customers, we are always striving to achieve the very best result for them through delivering the very best customer service. I look forward to continuing to grow the business over the next decade and beyond whilst always keeping these beliefs at the forefront of everything we do.

Paul is truly passionate about Move Revolution and our amazing team… but his one true passion (apart from his two amazing children, and his partner) would still have to be his beloved football team Crystal Palace. Those of you who are die-hard Palace fans will know… once a Palace fan, always a Palace fan – it’s fair to say you become very resilient, especially when you’ve been a season ticket holder (like Paul) for over 25 years.
We want to say a huge thank you to Paul. Thank you for your hard work, your focus, for your energy, for loving what you do and making Move Revolution a fantastic place to work. Here’s to 2025 and celebrating your 10th year.
