Take a trip back in time this with Medieval Madness at Lewes Castle & Museum, a great family day out in Sussex. From 27th May to 4th June Lewes Castle will be hosting a range of free, fun activities taking place across the site, including an activity trail, dressing up, colouring and games.

Eco Explorers at Borde Hill
Explore the garden on an eco-themed trail connecting children to nature while encouraging sustainable living. Discover fun facts, solve some puzzles and collect fallen finds in your ‘nature box’ as you explore. From 27th May – 4th June, 10:00pm – 5:00pm. Cost £4 per trail, plus Garden admission to include a prize.

Picnic Pickle Trail at Standen House
The Beales have a lovely tea time picnic planned with their friends in the garden but some mischief makers have hidden all the cakes. Follow the trail clues to see if you can find the cheeky rascals and enjoy some fun activities on the way. Look out for the felted mice in the house too with their stores of stolen food. You’ll find picnic blankets and deck chairs in the garden so you can relax and maybe have a picnic of your own. From Sat 27 May, 10:00 – 17:00.
