Location. The location of Sunte Close, just off College Road is one of the main reasons why we love this home. The private road enjoys a well regarded community for residents, with an annual summer BBQ and Christmas carols. For commuters, the position is excellent. Haywards Heath station is on your doorstep, where trains to London Bridge and London Victoria are from 42 minutes, whilst Brighton is just 20 minutes to the south. On hand at the station is a Waitrose and around the corner is a Sainsbury’s. Also close by is The Dolphin Leisure Centre, open 7 days a week. For schools, there is either Harlands Primary or Blackthorns Academy – Harlands rated as Good in its last Ofsted report whilst Blackthorns is an Outstanding rated school. Head out of Sunte Close and up nearby Wickham Way and into the fields behind which lead you to Haywards hath golf course and Wickham Wood – a great area to explore.
Head past the station and along Paddockhall Road which will lead you to Beech Hurst Gardens which has a children’s play area, miniature train line during the summer months and also a Harvester. A stroll into Lindfield via College Road and Gander Hill where you’ll find a thriving community and independent shops as well as great places to eat and drink. By car, National Trust facilities are located locally at Wakehurst Place and Nymans Gardens, with Sheffield Park less than 15 minutes by road. Pretty villages surround the town and include Cuckfield, Ardingly and Wivelsfield Green.
