Pick your own farms are a great day out, as well as a fun way to buy your weekly fruit and veg! The summer months are usually the time to go to pick your own farms, which coincides nicely with being in the wonderful outdoors, especially in the sunshine!
Below are some recommendations you might fancy visiting!
Flower Farm, Godstone
Enjoy picking strawberries, raspberries, and now pumpkins in the Flower Farm fields surrounding the farm shop and tea room. Fruit picking seasons are* strawberries: end of June – July, raspberries: end of June – August, cherries: end of mid July, Victoria Plums: August.

Roundstone Farm, Worthing
Roundstone ‘PYO’ Farm’s fruit and vegetables are grown using environmentally friendly methods, on beautifully kept and historic farmland. The PYO also allows you and your family to enjoy fresh and delicious crops daily, during the summer months.
Enjoy picking in the sun and fresh air; but if you wish to take a break, cold refreshments and ice creams are on sale close to the car park.
New House Farm, Horsham
New House Farm Shop and Tea Room is located in a 16th Century Sussex barn. It’s all set within the beautiful Sussex countryside on the outskirts of Horsham. It’s worth a visit just to see the barn and its vaulted roof.
Strawberries are now ready for picking, last entry to the field is at 4pm.
Garson’s Farm, Esher
Garsons was once a supplier of fresh crops to Borough Market. Today, an award-winning destination Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Restaurant and Pick Your Own.

Hewitts Farm, Orpington
Throughout the season you are invited to come onto Hewitts Farm to pick your own fruits and vegetables. This usually starts around Mid-July with their famous strawberries and ends in October with Pumpkins.

Maynards Fruit Farm, Ticehurst
Pick your own in the East Sussex countryside in Ticehurst. From cherries to berries! The fruit farm situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty was chosen for fruit growing because it is out of the frost pockets in the valleys.
